In fact, our entire process is completely digital for your convenience! Our Coverage Coaches will guide you through the application process, which takes about 15 minutes to complete.

To complete the application you will need the following:

General Information:

  • Social security number
  • Driver’s license number

Beneficiary Information *:

  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Social security number
* you will need to provide for all beneficiaries that you designate

Financial Information:

  • Your household income
  • Banking information
  • Amount of life insurance coverage you may already have

Personal History and Lifestyle Information:

  • Primary care doctor
  • Family history
  • Hobbies

What happens after the call?

Your Coverage Coach will send you a copy of your completed application by e-mail for your review and signature. Once your application has been signed and returned to John Hancock, you should receive a decision within 3-5 business days. If approved, an electronic copy of your policy will be sent to you. In the event that we need more information to process your application, your Coverage Coach will notify you as soon as possible.
